Principal's Message

A new school year always brings excitement for students, staff, and parents. Our goal is that students are successful in their learning and that they feel safe and welcome at school. We expect that students will demonstrate a serious commitment to learning; behave responsibly and show a positive and respectful attitude. A positive learning environment must be structured and safe in order for a high level of learning to take place. We have a very dedicated team of educators who are committed to providing quality teaching and learning experiences for your children. Our primary mission at Sakaw is to assist students to acquire the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary for success in their goals of schooling.

Our students are the leaders of tomorrow, and we must support these leaders by working together in a partnership of home, school and community to ensure that every child achieves to the best of his/her ability. This strong partnership between home and school reaps many rewards now and in the future. I encourage your input into school matters wherever possible. Please work closely with us: together we can accomplish much more.

I am confident that we will experience an eventful, exciting, successful school year in 2015—2016. Work with us, hand in hand, to provide inspiration, instruction and support so that our students will continue to achieve academic excellence.

I look forward to many wonderful experiences with all of you and a great year of learning.

Mrs. Brenda Mulder
